Ramat Yohanan Power Plant

Ramat Yohanan Power Plant Ltd. is in the process of building a power plant at Kibbutz Ramat Yohanan site.

The power plant will implement a Combined Cooling Heat and Power (CCHP) technology based on a Gas Turbine. The power plant's capacity will be 14 MWe and up to 600 cooling ton per hour.
Ramat Yohanan power plant is located at the north of Israel, approximately 140km from Jerusalem.
The power plant will supply all electricity and cooling energy consumption of Palram Ltd. and electricity and heat to Kibbutz Ramat Yohanan. Any surplus electricity will be sold to other electricity consumers via the IEC grid.

Kibbutz Ramat Yohanan:

The kibbutz is located at Haifa district within the territory of Zvulun Regional Council.
The Kibbutz operates in the agriculture, commerce and industry sectors.
