Masarik Power Plant Ltd. is in the process of building a power plant at Kibbutz Masarik site.
The power plant will implement a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Gas Turbine technology. The power plant's capacity will be 14 MWe and up to 20 steam ton per hour.
Masarik power plant is located at the north of Israel, approximately 120 km from Jerusalem.
The power plant will supply all electricity and energy consumption of the Kibbutz and different industrial consumers at Kibbutz Masarik and near industrial zones. Any surplus electricity will be sold to other electricity consumers via the IEC grid.
The kibbutz is located at the north of Israel within the territory of Mate Asher Regional Council.
The Kibbutz operates in the agriculture, commerce and industry sectors.
Located in the Kibbutz is Ducart Packaging Ltd, a paper factory which is considered to be the leading plant in Israel’s cardboard packaging industry.
